Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you take insurances? If so, which do you take?
Yes, we accept most PPO plans and some HMO plans that have contracted with us. For more information, please visit our insurance page. For anyone who is out of network or seeking services that are not covered by the terms of their plan, we do have reasonable self pay options and will provide current rates on request prior to scheduling.
Do I need a doctor's referral to be seen?
What is Direct Access?
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you please give us 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations. You can cancel via call/voicemail, text, or email. In the event of emergency, our cancellation fee of $30 may be waived
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, we do accept walk-ins, though our physical therapists are very busy and rarely is there a same day appointment available. If you are looking to establish a plan of care, it is best to call and schedule to ensure we have availability of your preferred day/time/location.
What can I expect on my first visit?
You will spend your initial 60-minute evaluation with one of our highly skilled therapists who will assess your injury or primary concern by taking your history and evaluating objective measures such as your range of motion, strength, functional movements, etc. Your therapist will review their findings with you and begin treatment on your first day. If appropriate, you will be given some home exercises to begin your rehabilitation process and the two of you will determine a plan of care that best fits your needs for ongoing treatment.
How long are follow up appointments?
What do I wear to my appointments?
We suggest that you wear something loose, comfortable, and easy to move in. Often times we are having you move around, practice exercises, or re-testing your symptoms with things that may have aggravated your symptoms initially. Simply put, wear something you may normally wear to exercise.
For orthopedic conditions such as shoulders, knees, etc try to wear clothes that allow for your therapist to provide hands on care, so loose T shirts, tank tops, shorts, etc as applicable.
Am I able to switch locations/therapists?
Yes, you are free to switch between locations/therapists if you’d like. Our therapists do go between two clinics depending on the days they’re in office to allow for greater scheduling flexibility. In addition, you can switch between locations/therapists if you’d like as well as all of our therapists share notes and collaborate as a team. You can always discuss with your therapist and the Front Desk to determine what works best for you.
